About

First off – thank you for visiting my site.

I am a Communications Studies major student at Memorial University of Newfoundland in my hometown of St. John’s, Canada.

I am currently working with the American Hockey League affiliate of the Montréal Canadiens, the St. John’s IceCaps. I provide series previews, bi-weekly reports for the Canadiens, as well as stories from the IceCaps for AHL On The Beat.

From February, 2015 until the end of the AHL season last year I provided commentary on Rogers Television broadcast, IceCaps Live. I squeezed onto the Hot Stove panel alongside Randy Pearcey, Chris Ballard, and The Telegram‘s Robin Short or Brendan McCarthy.

30 between-the-period interviews thus far, each one as exciting as the last.

Before providing content for the St. John’s IceCaps I was a regular contributor for The Hockey Writers as well as the Winnipeg Whiteout. I have also written articles for Arctic Ice Hockey (SB Nation)100 Degree Hockey (SB Nation), Wrong Side of the Red Line, and Highland Park Hockey.

I have lent my voice for two podcasts, the Power Play Post Show (BAK Studios, Kirkwood, New York) with Bob Howard, and the Jets Hockey Podcast (Calgary, Alberta) with Marshall and Jeff Stevenson.

In 2011 as a scrawny sixteen year-old I covered KRAFT Hockeyville for the Whiteout from the press box.

Being tucked in between Gary Lawless of TSN and a representative from Getty Images was surreal.
